MEANTIME - London Pale Ale 330ml Bottle
One hundred and fifty years ago the new bitter beer style, Pale Ale, was so popular that brewers had to import Californian hops to meet demand. Meantime London Pale Ale continues that tradition by combining lots of American Cascade and Centennial hops to give it a complex citrus aroma and bucketsful of local Kentish Goldings to provide the bitterness that makes the style so refreshing. Together they conspire to assail the nose with a complex, heady mix of spearmint, grass and 'hop sack' aromas, fruity citrus flavours and a bitter finish that makes pale ale drinking a truly rewarding experience.
2x5Ltr Adnams Ghost Ship Mini Cask 4.5%ABV
These two mini casks between them contain ten litres of beer, which is about 17 and a half pints. Just perfect for parties or celebratory gatherings. Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale which takes its inspiration from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, The Bell in Walberswick. This beer has good assertive pithy bitterness with a malty backbone and a lemon and lime aroma. Brewed with some Pale Ale malt, Crystal malt, Munich and some Wheat malt. We use Columbus and Chinook hops and a new hop called Citra, responsible for adding great lime flavours.
