2008 Meursault 'Les Genevrieres', Domaine Antoine Jobard, En Primeur, 12 bottle case
We used to stock the wines of Francois Jobard many years ago, and a recent return to his cellars showed us that we had been missing out in the interim. Francois has now handed over control of this estate to his son, Antoine, and we were very impressed with the quality of his 08s.

2008 Domaine de la Bongran, Macon Villages, J Thevenet, En Primeur, 12 bottle case
Domaine de la Bongran is one of Adnams most favoured estates. Why? Because year after year the Thevenet family produce stunning wines - totally unique in style and incredibly generous in flavour. Each wine takes months, if not years, to fully ferment. The grapes are late-picked, and the winery philosophy is totally unhurried. The wine is ready when it wants to be - not when the winmakers dictate. Truley fantastic stuff.
2007 Tour du Prelat Blanc, The Adnams Selection, Vin de Pays
A fine blend of half Viognier and half Marsanne with the aromas of lime blossom and the flavours of ripe pears. Great with creamy cheeses.
2007 Puligny Montrachet 'Les Perrieres' Etienne Sauzet
Mineral-rich and delicately floral oaked Chardonnay. Fermented in 35% new oak, (TronĂ¾ais and Allier) and went through secondary (malolactic) fermentation on its lees - adding broad, creamy tones. A good way to get your hands on a top wine estate is to marry the daughter - which is what Gerard Boudot did many years ago. He has since elevated this domaine's output to rival the best in Puligny and Chassagne. Meticulous in his attention to cleanliness and detail, his wines (all of which spend some time in new oak) deserve some bottle age to fulfil their potential. Drink from 2012-2015.
